Transport service
For the way from the Staffelegg-Passhöhe to the Herzberg (outward or return journey) there is the possibility of using a transport service from 8.30 to 17.00 hrs for SFr. 10.- per journey. Please contact reception the day before and we will clarify our options.
Outside the times mentioned above, you can easily reach the Herzberg by cab from Aarau. A fixed price of CHF 40 has been agreed with Top-Bahnhoftaxi (Tel. Taxi 078 71 888 88) for the outward or return journey from Aarau station to Herzberg.
Reception
Reception is open from 8.00 am to 12.30 pm and from 1.30 pm to 5.00 pm.
Room check-in is possible from 2 pm, room check-out is at 10 am.
Tax cards, cigarettes, tissues, toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoo and much more are available at reception
Postcard, EC and credit cards are accepted.
Reception will photocopy for you and print from USB sticks and from templates sent by email.
Cafeteria and consumption lists
The cafeteria is open 24 hours a day. Please help yourself and enter your consumption on the list provided for your guest group. You pay conveniently at the end of your stay at reception.
For hikers and excursionists, the Herzberg cafeteria offers a refreshing range of snacks, ice cream and drinks and is open daily. Enjoy coffee, tea, mineral water and homemade cakes with a beautiful view of the Alps.
Cuisine and meals
The Herzberg is a member of "Gout-Mieux": In the kitchen, we use crunchy vegetables from organic farming and high-quality meat from species-appropriate husbandry, from Demeter or Bud farms.
Do you like vegetarian food? Let reception know your preference as soon as you arrive. Our kitchen team will spoil you - with or without meat!
Breakfast buffet: 8.00 to 9.00 a.m.
Lunch: 12.15 p.m.
Dinner: 18.15 p.m.

Free wireless internet is available on the Herzberg.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome on herzberg, but please keep them on a leash inside the house.
